Partners

While we are service agnostic we do work in partnership with some selected organisations.

We partner with Inbest because their income maximisation tools are tailored to help individuals in the UK access their full financial entitlements. Their benefits calculator helps identify unclaimed benefits and social support, providing an opportunity to increase financial resilience. This aligns with our goal to empower individuals, especially those facing financial hardship, by unlocking hidden income opportunities. Through this partnership, we enhance the personalised financial services we offer, supporting people in managing their finances more effectively and improving overall financial wellbeing.

We work closely with LA Directories Ltd.

LA Directories’ knowledge databases and Visionary Network’s work are closely related. While we promote thinking and practice, LA Directories produce the invaluable HB Directory knowledge database. Housing Benefit administrators’ go-to source for information and guidance on Housing Benefit regulations, Northern Ireland Rates, Universal Credit, Council Tax Reduction schemes, and Discretionary Housing Payments are all covered in the directory.

We will often co-run or co-support workshops and seminars. For example, LAD have been running an excellent series of workshops on Supported Accommodation supplemented by VN’s workshops on systems support for Supported Accommodation Administration.

Established in 2018, Business Smart Solutions specialises in Revenues & Benefits Recruitment, Consultancy & Training.

BSS are run by Revenues and Benefits professionals for Revenues and Benefits professionals. Their services include, but are not limited to:

  • Temporary staffing (recruitment & selection)
  • Permanent recruitment on behalf of our Local Authority partners
  • A bespoke consultancy & service improvement service
  • Industry leading training courses
  • Subsidy Workbook Training and Completion Service

We partner with Ascendant Solutions because of their expertise in delivering data-driven software solutions, specifically designed to support local authorities in revenue collection and debt management. Their products, such as Apply4.Online® and Pathway, help streamline processes and provide detailed financial insights, enhancing decision-making and improving outcomes. Ascendant’s tailored, cloud-based tools enable organisations to work more efficiently, save time, and adapt quickly to new challenges, aligning perfectly with our mission to provide cutting-edge, scalable solutions to public sector clients.

We partner with Welfare Together because they share our dedication to supporting individuals facing financial hardship in these challenging times. With the cost of living continuing to rise, many people in the UK are struggling to keep up with everyday expenses and find themselves in debt. Welfare Together’s empathetic and personalised approach—demonstrated through real-life success stories—ensures that those in need receive clear, expert guidance to regain control over their finances and work towards long-term stability. By joining forces, we can extend our support to more communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the compassionate advice and tailored assistance necessary to overcome financial difficulties.

The Campaign for Better Policy is an independent think tank committed to shaping fairer, smarter, and more inclusive public policy across the UK. Established by policy researcher and commentator Rachael Walker, the Campaign focuses on improving the design and delivery of local government services, welfare systems, and disability support through rigorous evidence, lived experience, and meaningful engagement with communities.

Under Rachael’s leadership, the Campaign champions reforms that tackle regional inequality, strengthen local institutions, and deliver better outcomes for individuals. It combines expert research with practical insight to influence decision-makers and elevate the quality of public debate around social policy.

The Campaign’s current work explores the future of welfare reform, the role of local authorities in driving social justice, and the importance of rebuilding trust between citizens and the state through thoughtful, evidence-led policy.
